Jill Carapellotti Joins Insidedge New York

NEW YORK (September 29, 2011) --  Insidedge, the employee communications consultancy of Interpublic Group, today announced the appointment of Jill Carapellotti, as senior vice president in the New York office.  Carapellotti will consult with a cross-section of clients on effective employee engagement and communications strategies.  For more than 13 years she has assisted organizations with the alignment of business strategy to effective communications that inform, inspire and engage a variety of audiences, with a particular focus on leadership and employees.

Prior to joining Insidedge, Carapellotti was a director in Burson-Marsteller’s corporate practice and a member of their organizational performance discipline focused on employee engagement and change communications.  She most recently served as the overall agency lead for a large telecommunications organization, supporting PR and marketing efforts including internal communications, brand development, corporate visibility and digital marketing.

Previously, Carapellotti spent over eight years at JWT Inside in key leadership roles including director of digital development and senior client strategist. Prior to joining JWT Inside, Carapellotti served as an account manager and media planner in the New York office of Bernard Hodes Group, an employee communications agency.

While not advising clients, Carapellotti serves as an adjunct faculty staff member at Seton Hall University, where she instructs the practice of advertising and its convergence into other communications disciplines. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising from Rowan University.
